Are you in need of a last-minute gift for the holidays (Christmas, New Year's Valentine's Day, birthday)? Consider purchasing tickets to John McCutcheon's concert in Defiance, Ohio, on Saturday, February 18th!
John has been coming to Defiance since 1978 and has performed at Defiance College, Northwest State Community College, and at various churches and elementary schools in the area.
For the first time, John will deliver the message at Zion's 5:00 evening service. There is no charge for this service, and if you have never heard John "preach," that is worth coming a bit early. Following the service, the church's Innkeepers will provide a delicious soup supper for a free-will donation.. and like most churches, Zion's has excellent cooks! Following the supper, at 7:00 p.m. the church's string band, Optional Endings,will perform from 7-7:30. This ecumenical group includes hammer dulcimers, guitars, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and string bass.
Of course John's diverse musicality and whimsical storytelling will provide an evening of lively entertainment for all ages.
