The Meeting Place on Market

I was in Lima for work and had scoped out restaurants online. I chose the Meeting Place based on their menu on the website and close proximity to work. I was not disappointed! The chicken parmesan salad was fresh and flavorful. Their cheesecakes alone are worth the trip - homemade and full of flavor. What a gem in the downtown area!

The Meeting Place on Market began in 2003 and I've been a fan ever since. It's not only a place to get a REAL mocha or cappuccino, it's also a place with variety. I've come here for meetings, concerts, dates, a quick lunch, or just a little time to myself. The atmosphere is warm with its motherly decor, yet it's always fresh with new artwork on the walls and with the smell of ground coffee beans in the air. The Meeting Place is the reason I've come to explore downtown Lima at all!
