Christy Woods

"Christy Woods is an 18-acre property under the direction of the Ball State Field Station and Environmental Education Center (FSEEC) and is used as an outdoor teaching laboratory for Ball State students, as well as the community. Approximately three-fourths of the area is covered by mature forest, dominated by a mixture of oak, hickory, ash, walnut, hackberry, and maple. An open area with various planting beds is located in the center of the Christy Woods property, and divides the forest into east and west areas."
